Infinite possibilities of needle and thread in embroidery
Monique van Munster has a fascination with the infinite possibilities of needle and thread in embroidery. Her passion for refined craftsmanship brought her into contact with various couturiers and designers who wanted to incorporate her broderie d’art into their collections. Her work has been featured in shows in Paris, Dubai, and recently in Palm Springs. Monique experiments with old embroidery techniques from Haute Couture to develop new forms of work. Gold embroidery has become one of her specialties, with golden oak leaves being part of an art installation at the Masterly fair in The Hague.
